Cat Registration for the year 2024 has begun, log in on iimcat.ac.in to apply.
Registration for CAT 2024 is now open. Candidates aspiring to pursue an MBA/PGDM program from any of the IIMs can apply online via the official website of CAT www.iimcat.ac.in. The process will commence at 10:00 a.m. on August 1, 2024, and the last date for submission of application forms is September 13, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. during this month's third week CAT-2024 correction window will be available.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on November 24, 2024, in computer-based mode at 3 slots across India’s 170 test cities.
How can I apply for CAT 2024?
To apply for the CAT exam, one needs to meet all eligibility standards of this examination as mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official site i.e., iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: After visiting the site students have to fill up their registration form through ‘New Candidate Registration’ which will open up account creation and generation of login credentials button
Step 3: Use your login details such as email ID and phone number when logging into your account.
Step 4: To complete the 2024 CAT registration, candidates have to fill in their personal and previous academic details.
Step 5: Applicants must choose a minimum of 5 cities from the available 170 cities for the CAT examination.
Step 6: The necessary documents should be uploaded for verification in the prescribed format and size
Step 7: Pay the CAT exam fees through any online mode of transaction to complete the CAT exam 2024 registration.
Step 8: Click on the submit button to send the CAT application form.
Step 9: Take a printout of the cat exam registration form for future reference.
CAT Exam Fees For Session:
Under this year’s IIM CAT notification, general category applicants pay Rs.100 and reserved category candidates pay Rs.50 as such, but this is not applicable under any other OBC or SC/ST/PWDs. In addition, it costs Rs.2,500 for OBC and general category students whereas those belonging to special categories like SC/ST/PWD pay only Rs.1,250.
