KEA UGCET 2024 First Round Seat Allotment Begins, Check details here

KEA UGCET 2024:

Seat allotment for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2024 has been started by the  Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The option entry for round 1 has been started on the KEA official website. Eligible candidates can now do the option entry process by logging into the official KEA website at kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates have been given seven days to choose their preferences for professional courses like engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy, naturopathy, and yoga. Later on, the authority will announce the result of the mock seat allotment after the option entry process.

Candidates have the flexibility to submit their preferred college and course choices online in any order they desire. They can do this either at helpline centers or through their arrangements, according to the KEA information bulletin.

After the mock result, candidates can add, alter, rearrange, or delete their options within a given three-day window. The final result of the first round of seat allotment will be announced post three days after the option entry period is over.

UGCET 2024 Seat Allotment: Choices Available Post-Allotment

The seat allocation process spreads into three distinct rounds, each divided into three stages involving multiple iterations. The process commences with the first round, followed by the second round, culminating in the second extended round, also known as the casual vacancy round. Upon reviewing the seat allocation results, candidates will be presented with four options to select from.

Choice 1:  The applicant is satisfied with their assigned college and course and is ready to enroll by paying the fees, and opting out of further rounds of the allocation process.

Choice 2: The applicant is satisfied with their allocated college but desires to participate in the subsequent round for a chance at a potentially better outcome.

Choice 3: The applicant is not interested in the assigned seat and wishes to relinquish it to participate in the next round of allocations.

Option 4: The applicant has secured admission elsewhere and is therefore withdrawing from the seat allocation process.
