Document Verification for KCET 2024 Begins from June 25: Important Dates, documents required and Process Overview
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to commence the document verification process for the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2024 from tomorrow, June 25. This process will continue until June 29, 2024.
Document Verification Schedule
The KCET 2024 document verification process will be conducted in three shifts each day:
- First Shift: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- Second Shift: 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM
- Third Shift: 2:00 PM until all candidates have been processed
Candidates are advised to report 15 minutes before their respective shifts:
- First Shift: Report at 9:15 AM
- Second Shift: Report at 11:00 AM
- Third Shift: Report at 1:45 PM
Required Documents
Candidates must bring the following documents for verification, along with a photocopy of each:
- KCET 2024 Admit Card
- KCET 2024 Application Form
- Proof of Identity (Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.)
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Income Certificate (if applicable)
- Other relevant documents as mentioned in the official notification
Candidates should attend the document verification process on the dates stipulated according to their ranks. For example, candidates with ranks between 1 to 8,000 are scheduled for verification on June 25 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Post Document Verification Process
After the document verification round, the following steps are involved in the KCET 2024 counselling process:
- Verification Slip with Unique ID and Password:
- Candidates will receive a slip containing a unique ID and password if all documents are accurate.
- Access to KCET Counselling Portal:
- Candidates will use their unique ID and password to access their accounts on the KCET counselling portal.
- Choice Filling:
- Candidates will select their preferred colleges and courses.
- The seat matrix, which includes course-specific, category-specific, and college-specific details, will be available to help candidates make informed choices.
- Candidates can modify their choices (add, change, or remove options) at each session of the counselling process.
- Seat Allotment:
- The seat allotment process will be conducted based on the choices and availability of seats.
