The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the schedule for the 2024 counselling process for IIT-JEE aspirants. Eligible candidates must register and fill in their choices for institutes and courses, and they will be allotted seats based on their ranks.
Eligibility and Process:
Candidates who qualify in the JEE Advanced 2024, whose results will be declared by IIT Madras on June 9, will undergo the JoSAA 2024 counselling process. This process is essential for securing seats at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs).
The JoSAA counselling will feature five rounds, with an additional round specifically for NIT+ systems. Two mock seat allocations will be released to help candidates understand their potential allotment before the final allocation process. Candidates also have the option to withdraw or exit from the seat allocation process if needed.
For more information and updates, candidates should regularly check the official JoSAA website.
Additional Tips:
This structured approach ensures that candidates can smoothly navigate the JoSAA counselling process and secure their desired seats in prestigious institutions.
