VITEEE 2025 Registration Deadline Extended Till April 7; Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, and Counselling Details
The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has extended the VITEEE 2025 registration deadline till April 7, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for VITEEE 2025 can complete their registration on the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in. The application process began in November 2024 and was initially scheduled to close in March.
VITEEE 2025 Exam Date and Result
The VITEEE 2025 exam is scheduled from April 20 to April 27, 2025. The VITEEE 2025 result will be declared on April 30, 2025. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website for further updates.
VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before proceeding with the VITEEE 2025 registration, candidates must ensure they meet the following VITEEE 2025 eligibility criteria:
- The candidate must be a resident Indian, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI), or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO).
- The candidate must be born on or after July 1, 2003.
- Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12.
- General category candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Odisha candidates) must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 12.
VITEEE 2025 Exam Pattern
The VITEEE 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode and will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates should be aware of the VITEEE 2025 Exam Pattern.
The medium of the exam will be English. The test will consist of 125 questions divided into five sections:
- Mathematics or Biology – 40 Questions
- Physics – 35 Questions
- Chemistry – 35 Questions
- English – 5 Questions
- Aptitude – 10 Questions
Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
VITEEE 2025 Counselling Process
The VITEEE 2025 counselling process will commence in May 2025. Seat allocation will be based on the candidate’s VITEEE 2025 rank and seat availability. Candidates with a rank up to 1 lakh will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for all four VIT campuses (VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP, and VIT Bhopal).
However, candidates with a rank above 1 lakh will only be eligible for VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses. During the VITEEE 2025 counselling, provisional admission will be granted only if the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria. Candidates must also submit the required documents and complete the tuition fee payment within the stipulated deadline.
