JEE Main 2025: NTA JEE Session 2 Exams Begin Tomorrow; Updates on Admit Card, Exam Pattern, Timings
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exams from April 2 to April 9. Candidates appearing for the exam must check the latest updates on JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, JEE Main admit card 2025, and JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam timings.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Timings
The JEE Main 2025 session 2 exams will be conducted in two shifts. Below is the schedule:

JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Released
The NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 admit card for exams scheduled on April 2, 3, and 4. Candidates can download the JEE Main admit card 2025 from the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in by entering their application number and password. Admit cards for the remaining exam dates will be released soon.
The JEE Main 2025 admit card contains essential details, including:
- Candidate’s name, roll number, and application number
- Exam date, time, and venue
- Reporting time
- Exam day guidelines
- Photograph and signature
Candidates must carry a printed copy of their JEE Main admit card 2025 along with a passport-size photo and a valid government-issued photo ID.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2025 exam pattern remains the same as in previous years. The structure for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) is as follows:
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Total Questions: 90 (30 per subject; 25 to be attempted per subject)
- Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answer, -1 for incorrect answer
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 3 hours
For Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning):
- Paper 2A (B.Arch): Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test
- Paper 2B (B.Planning): Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Planning-based questions
- Mode: Computer-Based (except Drawing Test, which is pen-and-paper)

JEE Main 2025: Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of a tie in scores, the ranking will be determined based on the following:
- Higher NTA score in Mathematics
- Higher NTA score in Physics
- Higher NTA score in Chemistry
- Lower proportion of incorrect answers
- Age priority if needed
