Neet Ug Registration 2024 Will Close Today: The Exam To Be Conducted On May 5
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conclude the registration process for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024 today, March 16. Candidates wishing to apply for NEET UG 2024 must complete their registration by 11:50 pm, while the payment window will remain open until 10:50 pm. Applications can be submitted via the official NEET UG website, neet.ntaonline.in, or exams.nta.ac.in.
The deadline for NEET 2024 registration was extended from March 9 due to technical difficulties faced by students in completing Aadhaar verification when their mobile numbers were unlinked from their Aadhaar cards.
Steps to Apply for NEET UG 2024 Exam
To apply for NEET UG 2024, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit neet.ntaonline.in, the official NEET UG website.
- Choose the "new registration" link if you are a new applicant, or log in if you already have an account.
- Fill in the required details such as name, birthdate, gender, phone number, and email address.
- After registration, sign in using your password and application number.
- Complete the NEET UG 2024 application form.
- Submit the application form along with the requisite fee.
- Save and print a copy of the application form for future reference.
During the application process, candidates will need various documents, including their signature, left and right thumb impressions, photos in postcard and passport sizes, Class 12 certificate and marksheet, PwBD certificate (if applicable), and embassy or citizenship certificate.
The NEET UG 2024 examination is scheduled for May 5, with results expected to be announced on June 14. The exam will be conducted offline, with a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes. The question paper will consist of two sections, A and B, each containing 35 and 15 questions, respectively. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
