Again, the Medical Counselling Committee has reduced the NEET PG 2024 qualifying percentile; and lowered it to the fifth percentile for everyone. This was an exercise by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to make more candidates qualify for postgraduate medical admissions. But NEET PG 2024 ranks and percentile scores earlier published remain unaffected due to this change.
The revised minimum qualifying criteria for the General/EWS, UR-PwBD, and SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC) categories now stand at the fifth percentile. The above cut-off is substantially lower than the previous one to fill all available seats for various postgraduate medical programs.
Candidates are advised to visit the official MCC website to get updated on the NEET PG cutoff percentile and the counseling process thereafter. One must be fully informed about any developments regarding the official channels since the revised admission process should be adapted.
