New Delhi: Anna University in Chennai has extended the registration deadline for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2025) and the Common Engineering Entrance Test & Admissions (CEE-PG-2025) to February 26. While CEETA-PG is held for ME, MTech, MArch, and MPlanning admissions, TANCET 2025 is held for MBA and MCA admissions.
Applications for the TANCET and MTech entrance exams will also be accepted from candidates who are enrolled in the final semester or year of the qualifying degree program in the academic year 2024 - 2025. The CEETA-PG 2025 exam must be taken by those who passed the GATE and want to enroll in MTech programs at Anna University, Annamalai University, government, and government-aided engineering colleges.
The TANCET exam 2025 will take place on March 22 per the previously stated schedule, with the MBA being conducted in the afternoon and the MCA in the afternoon. On the other hand, the CEETA PG exam will be conducted on March 23.
Applicants would have to pay Rs 1,000 as a registration fee to apply for the TANCET MCA, MBA entrance exam, and SC, and ST applicants from Tamil Nadu will have to pay Rs 500. The application fee for CEETA-PG 2025 is Rs 1,800, while candidates from reserved categories only need to pay Rs 900.
There will be 15 test locations for the TANCET exam in 2025 including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Vellore, Tiruchirappalli, Nagercoil, Villupuram, Chidambaram, Tirunelveli, Thanjavur, Bargur, Erode, Dindigul, and Karaikudi. According to the schedule, the candidate login will be used to issue the TANCET admit card 2025 on March 8.
