The NEET 2025 registration process officially began on February 7, 2025, on the official website – www.neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can complete the NEET 2025 application process until March 7, 2025, 11:50 PM. The NEET 2025 exam date has also been announced as May 4, 2025.
NEET 2025 Registration Process: How to Apply?
The NEET 2025 application process is completely online. Candidates must follow these steps to register successfully:
- Visit the official NEET 2025 registration portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "NEET 2025 Registration" link and create a new account.
- Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and communication details.
- Upload the required documents in the specified format and size.
- Pay the NEET 2025 application fee online.
- Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

NEET 2025 Exam Pattern Changes
NTA has revised the NEET 2025 exam pattern by eliminating optional questions. The new pattern includes:
- Total Questions: 180 (compulsory, no optional questions)
- Subjects: Physics (45), Chemistry (45), Biology (90)
- Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours)
NEET 2025 Documents Required for Application
Candidates must upload the following documents while filling out the NEET 2025 application form:
- Passport-size photograph (10 KB – 200 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Postcard-size photograph (10 KB – 200 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Scanned signature (10 KB – 50 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Left & right-hand fingers and thumb impressions (10 KB – 200 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Category Certificate (50 KB – 300 KB, PDF) – if applicable
- Class 10 Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet (50 KB – 300 KB, PDF)
- CGPA to Percentage Conversion Certificate (50 KB – 300 KB, PDF) – if applicable
- Identity Proof (10 KB – 200 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Address Proof (50 KB – 300 KB, PDF)
- Citizenship/Embassy Certificate (for NRI/OCI/Foreign candidates)
- PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
APAAR ID for NEET 2025 Registration
NTA has introduced APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) for NEET UG 2025. This 12-digit digital ID allows students to store their academic records. However, APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET 2025 registration but is recommended for easy verification.
