NTA Releases Important Instructions for NEET UG 2025; Exam Scheduled for May 4
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official schedule and important guidelines for the NEET UG 2025 exam, which is set to take place on May 4, 2025. The exam will be conducted for admissions into MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses across medical colleges in India.
Key Updates for NEET UG 2025
- Increased Exam Centre Choices: Candidates can now select three preferred cities for their exam centre instead of two, offering greater flexibility.
- Online Application Only: The application form must be submitted online through neet.nta.nic.in. No other modes will be accepted.
- Mandatory Document Uploads: Candidates must upload a recent passport-sized photograph, address proof, and a scanned signature during registration.
- Single Application Rule: Each candidate is allowed to submit only one application.
- Strict Adherence to Instructions: Failure to comply with NTA guidelines will lead to disqualification.
- Contact Details Requirement: Candidates must use their own or their parent’s/guardian’s email ID and mobile number for registration, as all communication will be sent via email or SMS.
- BSc Nursing Admission through NEET UG: Military Nursing Service (MNS) aspirants applying for BSc Nursing courses at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals must qualify for NEET UG 2025.

- Exam Date: May 4, 2025
- Duration: 180 minutes (2 PM – 5 PM IST)
- Languages Offered: 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
