GATE 2025 Answer Key and Response Sheet: Release date, steps to download, and objection process
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is approaching the end of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. The national exam, which serves as a gateway to postgraduate engineering programs and employment opportunities in the public sector, will end on February 16, 2025. The exams are being conducted in two daily sessions: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
GATE Answer Key and Response Sheet Release Date: Expected
As per previous trends, candidates can expect the provisional GATE 2025 answer key release date by the last week of February 2025, tentatively between February 20 and 21, 2025. The official dates will be confirmed by IIT Roorkee on the "gate2025.iitr.ac.in" portal for GATE 2025.
Together with the provisional key, the response sheet, which records the candidates' responses will also be made available. For important streams including Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Data Analytics (DA), and Civil Engineering (CE), candidates can review the subject-wise answer keys.

- Visit "gate2025.iitr.ac.in", the official website.
- On the homepage, click the "GATE Answer Key 2025" link.
- Enter your application number and password to log in.
- For future use, download the response sheet and answer key.
GATE 2025 Answer Key Objection Process
Through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal, candidates will have the chance to challenge the provisional answer key. To raise objections, take the following actions:
- Go to the GOAPS portal and use your registered login information to sign in.
- Choose the option for the GATE 2025 answer key challenge.
- Select the paper and decide which question ID you want to challenge.
- Provide justifications or supporting documentation.
- Pay the whole 500 rupees for each objection etc.
