JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Exams Begin January 22, Key NTA Guidelines for Aspirants

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 examinations from January 22 to January 30. Paper 1, meant for BE/BTech aspirants, will commence on January 22. Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlanning) will follow, with the latter scheduled exclusively for January 30 in the afternoon session.

Guidelines for Exam Day

  1. Mandatory Documents:
    • Printout of JEE Main 2025 admit card.
    • A valid photo identity proof (original).
    • Two extra passport-size photographs (one for the attendance sheet).
  2. Barred Items:
    • Any stationary, electronic devices, or accessories like mobile phones, calculators, and handbags.
    • Clothing with metallic accessories or thick-soled shoes.
  3. Special Instructions:
    • Diabetic students may carry sugar tablets, fruits, and transparent water bottles.
    • Geometry boxes and drawing tools are permitted only for Paper 2 drawing exams.
  4. Reporting Time:
    • Candidates using DigiLocker/ABC ID must arrive an hour early for biometric verification.

Key Reminder

After the exam, candidates must drop their admit cards in the designated drop box. Failure to do so will result in their answers not being evaluated.
