Uttarakhand NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Registration Open
The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has initiated the registration process for Uttarakhand NEET PG 2024 counselling, following the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) decision to reduce the cutoff percentile.
Revised Cutoff Percentiles
- General/EWS Categories: Reduced from the 50th percentile to the 15th percentile.
- SC/ST/OBC Categories: Lowered from the 40th percentile to the 10th percentile.
- PwD Category: Adjusted from the 45th percentile to the 10th percentile.
This adjustment aims to fill vacant seats in medical colleges and provide opportunities to a broader range of candidates.

- Registration Period: January 11 to January 13, 2025, until 8 PM.

Steps to Register For Uttarakhand NEET PG 2024

Important Considerations
- Merit List Publication: Post-registration, HNBUMU will release a merit list featuring candidates' names, categories, NEET PG 2024 roll numbers, scores, ranks, domicile status, claimed weightage, adjusted marks after weightage, and state ranks.
- Counselling Rounds: The counselling process includes three online rounds, with a mop-up round conducted manually if necessary.
- Seat Allotment: Allocation will be based on candidates' preferences, seat availability, and NEET PG 2024 ranks.
- Reserved Category Candidates: Such candidates should verify their eligibility per the university's reservation policies and ensure accurate documentation.
- State PMHS Uttarakhand Doctors: Regular doctors from the state PMHS participating in the counselling must upload a certificate of service in difficult areas, countersigned by the Director General, to avail of benefits ranging from 10% to 30%.
