The CENTAC NEET PG 2024 registration process has been reopened following the reduction in the NEET PG 2024 cutoff, giving candidates a fresh chance to secure their spot in postgraduate medical programs. The registration window, which began on January 6, 2025, will remain open until 5 PM on January 9, 2025. Candidates who now qualify under the revised NEET PG 2024 cutoff are urged to complete their applications before the deadline.
The cutoff revisions have significantly expanded eligibility, enabling more candidates to participate in the counselling process. The updated cutoffs are as follows:
Category | Original Cutoff Percentile | Revised Cutoff Percentile |
General/EWS | 50 | 15 and above |
General/EWS-PwBD | 45 | 10 and above |
SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD) | 40 | 10 and above |
CENTAC Puducherry has issued a clear directive: only applications from candidates eligible under the revised cutoff will be considered. Submissions not meeting this criterion will be rejected outright.
While the registration is ongoing, CENTAC is expected to announce the merit list, choice-filling dates, and seat allotment schedules soon. The Round 2 seat allotment result was previously declared on December 22, 2024, with institute reporting completed by December 28, 2024.
Reopening the CENTAC NEET PG 2024 registration process allows eligible candidates to secure their desired PG medical seats. This decision is a relief for many aspirants who were previously excluded due to the higher cutoff.
Candidates are encouraged to complete their registration promptly and monitor the official CENTAC website for updates on subsequent counselling steps. Don’t miss this chance to pursue your medical education under the CENTAC NEET PG 2024 counselling program!
