New Delhi: In 2025, there will be fewer test cities in India and abroad and a shorter period for the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate, or CUET PG. However, the cost of taking the NTA CUET PG 2025 exam will increase for candidates. The CUET PG registration 2025 has begun on the National Testing Agency's (NTA) new official website, “exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG”. The CUET PG application form 2025 must be completed by February 1, 2025.
The CUET PG exam has changed in response to the suggestions of an expert committee established to examine the test's format, number of papers, duration, and other elements.
The CUET PG exam 2025 will now take 90 minutes instead of 105. However, there are still 75 questions, just like last year. Two to three shifts per day will be used to administer the test. An hour and 30 minutes will be allotted for each shift.
In India, the CUET PG 2025 registration fee has been raised by Rs 200 for all categories and up to two test papers. To select additional test papers, the amount has increased by Rs 100 for each paper. For up to two test papers, the registration fee outside of India is Rs 1,000 more than it was the year before, and for additional test papers, it has increased by Rs 1,500, etc.
Since this year, the NTA has let applicants take the test in four different cities rather than just two.
Additionally, there are now 285 CUET PG 2025 exam cities in India instead of the previous 300. However, there are now more worldwide test locations, and the list of CUET PG 2025 exam cities now includes the following new locations:
