CAT 2024 Cut-offs Released: IIM Admission Process and Category-Wise Criteria Explained
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have opened applications for postgraduate management programs using CAT 2024 scores. Recently, IIM Calcutta announced the CAT 2024 results, with about 3 lakh candidates appearing for the exam. Out of these, 14 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile score.
IIM MBA admissions are based on several factors, including CAT scores, personal interviews, written ability tests (WAT), group discussions, and work experience. However, each IIM has its own selection process and criteria.
For example, IIM Rohtak and IIM Mumbai assign 60% weightage to CAT scores, while IIM Bangalore gives only 25% weightage to the entrance exam. Meanwhile, IIM Kozhikode has updated its CAT percentile criteria for Class 10 marks from 25% to 15% this year
