CAT 2024: Documents Needed for IIM Interview Verification
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, announced the CAT 2024 results on Thursday evening. Engineering students and male candidates dominated the performance in the exam. Out of the 14 students who scored a perfect 100 percentile, 13 are engineers. When it comes to gender, 13 of the top scorers are male, and only one is female.

Subsequently, all the IIMs will come out with the next list of selected students for further rounds of admission. Such lists are prepared based on CAT scores as well as institute-wise cut-offs and other parameters. The application shortlisting is conducted by each of the IIMs individually and the shortlisted candidates will receive an interview call directly from such IIMs.

Academic Records
You’ll need to show your original mark sheets and degree certificates to prove your eligibility. Additionally, you’ll have to submit attested copies of these documents during the interview.
Reservation Category Documents
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, or PwD categories must present their original caste, class, or disability certificate. A photocopy of the certificate will also need to be submitted at the interview.
Final Year Students.
If you’re in the final year of your bachelor’s degree or an equivalent program, you’ll need to provide a certificate from your institution. This certificate should confirm that you’ve scored at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade based on the latest results.
Such candidates can join the program on a provisional basis. However, their admission will only be finalized once they submit the original mark sheet and degree certificate proving they’ve passed their bachelor's degree with the required marks.
MBA admissions process: Important Deadline
The date on which you are required to produce your final mark sheet and degree certificate is December 31, 2025. Make sure that you submit these documents within the deadline otherwise don’t expect your admission to be processed to go through.
