The eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) will take place in January, and registrations are already open, according to the Union Education Ministry.
Designed to help students, teachers, and parents handle exam stress and celebrate exams as a festival, PPC has been hugely popular over the last seven years. Registrations for the 2025 edition can be done on MyGov.in and will stay open until January 14.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks directly with students preparing for board exams. He answers their questions about exam stress and other concerns. The first PPC was held on February 16, 2018, at Talkatora Stadium. The seventh edition took place in a town hall format at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, involving participants from across India and abroad.
To set the stage for the main event, several activities will run from January 12, 2025 (National Youth Day) to January 23, 2025 (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti). These include:
