Five IITs have achieved the top ranks in the QS Rankings this year. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi was ranked the most sustainable university in India in the QS Ranking 2025. The other four best IITs in Sustainability are IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay and IIT Madras.
77 institutions in India have ranked in the QS World University Rankings Sustainability 2025. Delhi University has secured the 299th position globally in the QS World University Rankings 2025 for sustainability. The QS rankings are given based on environmental impact, social impact, and governance.
