CAT Result 2024: Scorecard, Cutoff, Toppers List
Introduction
Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is expected to announce the Common Admission Test, CAT 2024 results soon for securing admission into postgraduate management programmes offered at IIMs and other participating MBA colleges. The scorecard, and toppers list will be hosted on the official website, iimcat.ac.in along with the CAT results 2024.
This year, 3.29 lakh candidates have registered for the CAT exam 2024, of which 2.93 lakh candidates took the exam with an overall attendance of 89%. Candidates can easily download the CAT scorecard 2024 by using their registration number, password, and candidate login credentials.
In this exam, the number of questions was increased to 68 at the last moment. The MBA entrance exam was rated easy compared to the previous year by candidates. Experts have also said that the CAT cut-off 2024 can be increased this year for IIM admission as the question paper was easy in difficulty level.
Steps to Check CAT Results 2024
Candidates are supposed to follow the below steps to view and download the CAT scorecard for the year 2024:
- Open the CAT official website at iimcat.ac.in.
- Select the CAT scorecard 2024 download link.
- Fill tin he CAT application number, password, and security pin
- Enter the login credentials entered.
- CAT scorecard 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Review all the details given on the result card.
- Download, save, and print it for future reference.
IIM Calcutta has conducted the CAT exam 2024 on November 24 in 389 exam centres. The question paper will cover three sections:
- Verbal ability and reading comprehension
- Quantitative ability and
- Data interpretation and logical reasoning
The CAT VARC section had 24 questions and the remaining two sections had 22 questions each.
