Engineering Entrance Exams BTech Admissions 2025: Updates on JEE Main, VITEEE, KCET, and More
Introduction
Engineering is one of the most valuable and preferred study options among students all over India. There are more than 15 lakh candidates who appear for various National and State-Level engineering entrance exams every year to get admission to BTech and other allied courses. There are nearly 30 engineering entrance exams which are conducted for admission to engineering courses in the year 2025. The exam is said to be a gateway for admission to the NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.
The latest updates on key engineering entrance exams for BTech admissions in 2025:
JEE Main is one of the top engineering entrance exams in India with more than 10 lakh students appearing for it every year. Registration for the first session of Jee mains is closed on November 22, 2024. The exams will be conducted from January 22 to 31, 2025, and results are expected to be declared on February 12, 2025. This exam serves as a gateway to top engineering institutes like NITs, and IIITs, and as a qualifier for JEE Advance
- VITEEE 2025: Vellore Institute of Technology will hold its entrance test from April 21-27, 2025. Applications are going to be available for the candidates until March 31, 2025. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have secured at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology India Today Best College
- KCET 2025: Karnataka's state-level exam is expected to follow its traditional timeline in May. Details on registration and schedule are anticipated soon.
- SRMJEEE 2025: The SRM Joint Entrance Examination for securing admission in BTech will take place in phases. Exact dates are pending, but registrations are expected to open shortly for the willing candidates.
- BITSAT 2025: Dates for the BITSAT are yet to be confirmed and BITS Pilani typically conducts this test in May for the candidates to get admission into its prestigious campuses.
- All Other Exams: The AEEE for(Amrita University), GUJCET of Gujarat and MHT CET of Maharashtra are also gearing up for 2025 engineering admissions. For example, GUJCET is going to be scheduled for March 23, 2025
