IIT Kharagpur Placements 2024-25: Over 1,000 Offers by Day 3; Top Recruiters, Highest Package
Introduction
IIT Kharagpur’s 2024-25 placement drive has seen a remarkable and unforgettable start, having more than 1,000 job offers secured within the first three days. On the first day 1, students got 750 offers, with 11 packages exceeding ?1 crore and the highest offer which is ?2.14 crore. Notable recruiters include:
- Apple
- Google
- Microsoft
- Quantbox, and
- DE Shaw which reflects strong participation across sectors like software, analytics, finance, consulting, and core engineering
The placement process has a feature of hybrid interviews which allows companies to conduct sessions both online and on-campus. On the second day, students had secured 13 international offers in companies like Capital One, Flipkart, and American Express which has also made significant contributions.
