JEE Main 2025: NIT Trichy Closing Ranks Rise for CS, ECE, EE, ME in JoSAA Counselling
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli had seen rise in cut-off ranks for major BTech programs like:
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical Engineering (EEE)
- Mechanical Engineering (ME) compared to the previous year.
The institute will admit students for undergraduate programs through JEE Main 2025 Session 1, scheduled from January 22 to 31, 2025.

- The highest cut-off was recorded at 1,224 for the four-year BTech Computer Science and Engineering program.
- Students must qualify for JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 to gain admission to BE/BTech programs at NIT Trichy.
- The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will oversee counseling for admissions to NITs. This year, NIT Rourkela has been appointed as the coordinator for JoSAA 2025.
