The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the re-registration process for its January 2025 session. Candidates will have to visit the official website– ignou.samarth.edu.in for IGNOU re-registration. IGNOU's January 2025 re-registration window will close on 31 January 2025. The registration process is being conducted for students enrolled in various Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes at the university.
“The Re-registration for the January 2025 session for all ODL and Online programmes has commenced from 2nd December 2024 to 31st January 2025 https://ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login”, IGNOU said on X.
“Candidates will need to register on the Portal. Please click the ‘New Registration’ button to proceed. Please provide your correct mobile number and e-mail ID, because we shall be able to send you a confirmation and any other important update only if we have your correct mobile number and e-mail ID. If you have already registered on the portal, you may use your Username and Password to log in,” the notification reads.

To register for the IGNOU January 2025, follow the given steps–
- Candidates will have to visit the official website— onlinerr.ignou.ac.in
- Click on the Re-Registration link for the January 2025 session
- Enter your login details and submit.
- Fill up the form, pay the fee, and click on submit.
