XAT 2025 Features New Exam Interface and Scientific Calculators: Register Before Deadline

XAT 2025 Key Details

Xavier School of Management has introduced new updates for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025. Candidates can use scientific calculators during the XAT 2025 exam. A calculator option will be available within the test interface. The deadline to register for XAT 2025 is November 30. Interested and eligible candidates can complete the XAT 2025 registration form by visiting the official website at xatonline.in.

XAT 2025: Exam Pattern

Here are the details:

Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA and LR)- Part of the main exam structure
Decision Making (DM)- Included in the main exam
Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (QA- and DI) Key testing areas
General Knowledge (GK)- 20 questions (12 on current affairs, 8 on static GK)

 

Revised Exam Format

There is a little change in the exam pattern. Candidates can check it below:

Part 1 170 minutes
Part 2 (GK Section) 10 minutes
Total Duration 180 minutes

 

Other Important Changes

  1. General Knowledge Section:
    • Reduced from 25 questions to 20.
    • Questions are divided between current affairs (12) and static GK (8).
    • Scores from this section will only be used by XLRI Jamshedpur during the final selection.
  2. Analytical Essay Writing (AEW):
    • It will now be conducted during the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
