Why NTA is Rejecting JEE Main 2025 Application Forms: Common Mistakes to Avoid
The National Testing Agency (NTA) rejected applications due to common mistakes made during the registration process. Many applicants do not follow all instructions properly while filling out forms which is the main reason for rejections. NTA has set specific guidelines for JEE Main 2025 registration, and candidates need to follow these carefully to avoid errors.
This year, the NTA introduced some new rules for the JEE Main application process. Only those who complete their registration correctly can take the JEE Main 2025 exam. NTA is allowing candidates to make corrections to their application forms from November 26 to 27, 2024. The JEE Main exams will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025.
The registration portal was open from October 28 to November 22, 2024. Candidates had to register on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in and upload the required documents along with paying the registration fee to submit their application.
NTA Rejecting JEE Main Application Form 2025
Here is the main reason why NTA rejected the JEE Mains application form 2025:
1. Submitting Multiple Applications- All candidates are allowed to submit only one application form. If a student submits multiple forms then all the forms are rejected automatically by the NTA
2. Mistakes in Non-Editable Fields- Details like email ID, phone number, and identification number are not allowed to change later. The form will be rejected if a mistake is found in this field.
3. Not Paying the Registration Fee- The application form is complete with payment of the registration fee. If the fee is not paid, NTA will reject the form. Ensure you complete this step to confirm your submission.
4. Incorrect Photo and Signature- If Photo and document uploading not done as per NTA guidelines the form will rejected.
5. Disperency in Identification Number- The identification number is used to verify the applicant’s identity. If any mistake is found in this number the form will be rejected.
Avoid Rejections in JEE Mains Application Form 2025
Here are the steps on how the candidate can fill the correct form to avoid rejection:
- Fill in Details Carefully: Double-check all the information you enter in the application form. Keep in mind that NTA allows changes only in certain fields during the correction window.
- Pay the Fee: Make sure to pay the full registration and processing fee. Without this payment, your application won’t be accepted. Check the payment options and fee structure for your category and chosen papers.
- Follow Photo and Signature Rules: Upload your photo and signature according to the size and format mentioned in the guidelines. Please correct uploads to avoid rejection.
- Submit Before the Deadline: Complete the application process before the last date. For the January session, the deadline is November 22, 2024. Applications submitted after this date won’t be accepted.
- Download the Confirmation Slip: After submitting your application, download the confirmation slip for your records. NTA will also confirm the successful submission to your email and phone.
