The National Testing Agency (NTA)  shared an FAQ notice through its official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. It is done to address common questions about JEE Main 2025. The registration process for Session 1 ended on  November 22, 2024.NTA has also shared details such as:

1. How can I register for JEE Main 2025?

Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Information Bulletin under the “Important Information at a Glance” section.

3. Is Aadhaar authentication required?

No, Aadhaar authentication is not important. But if you update your Aadhaar details it can make ID verification at the exam center easier.

 

4. What documents are required for PwD candidates?

PwD candidates need to follow the guidelines under the RPwD Act, 2016.

 

5. What languages are available for the exam?

The exam will be conducted in the following languages

 

6. What are the dates for JEE Main 2025?

Session 1: January 22–31, 2025

Session 2: April 1–8, 2025

 

7. Can I change my exam center or date?

No, NTA does not allow changes to the exam center or date once they are assigned.

 

8. Is there a negative marking?

Yes, both MCQs and numerical value questions will have negative markings.

 

9. What should I do if I don’t receive my admit card?

NTA opened a one-time correction window after the application process ended. Correction can made only in selective fields

The pattern and duration vary by course:

B.Arch/B.Planning: 3 hours and 30 minutes.
