BTech Admission 2025 Latest Updates: JEE Main Correction Window Closed; VITEEE, SRMJEE, AEEE Dates Out
The race for BTech admissions 2025 is heating up with several key updates on engineering entrance exams across India. Here’s the latest roundup:
JEE Main 2025 Updates
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 application correction window officially closed at 11:50 PM on November 27, 2024. This marks a crucial step for candidates preparing for one of India’s most competitive engineering exams. As per the National Testing Agency (NTA), the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exams will be conducted from January 22 to 31, and session 2 will follow from April 1 to 8. Applicants can expect the exam city intimation in the first week of January 2025.
The JEE Main exam will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The NTA has retained the 75% eligibility criterion for admissions to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, adding to the importance of excelling in both board exams and JEE Main.
SRMJEEE 2025
The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2025 registration for Phase 1 is ongoing, with the deadline set for April 16, 2025. The Phase 1 exam is scheduled from April 22 to 27, 2025. Aspiring candidates should visit the official SRMIST website for detailed updates and to complete the application process.
VITEEE 2025
The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025 will be held from April 21 to 27, 2025. The last date to register for the exam is March 31, 2025. The VITEEE exam will be conducted in a computer-based format with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
AEEE 2025
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has extended the registration deadline for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025 Phase 1 to January 20, 2025. The Phase 1 exam is scheduled for February 1 and 2, 2025.

- BITSAT 2025: Exam dates for the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) are yet to be announced.
