The CAT 2024 exam was conducted successfully yesterday, November 24. But according to students who appeared in Slot-2 and Slot-2 this year the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) question paper has been revised this year. The total number of questions contained increased from 66 to 68 this year with two extra questions included in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section.
About 3.29 lakh candidates appeared for CAT 2024 exam which held in three sections. IIM Calcutta finished slot 1 and slot 2 earlier and the third session started at 4:30 pm and ended at 6:30 pm.
This year, the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) section had some changes. There were 22 questions in total, divided into 5 sets:
Additionally, there were no para jumble questions in the first exam slot.

According to the CAT slot 1 exam analysis, students who prepared the Quant formula-based questions found the CAT QA part easier, and the question paper was easier compared with previous year. According to the CAT slot 2 exam analysis, the VARC, DILR, and QA sections were all more comprehensive and had a moderate to challenging level of difficulty.
