AFCAT 1 Notification 2025: 336 Vacancies, Registration from Dec 2
The Indian Air Force (IAF) will issue the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 short notification for the year 2025. According to the official notification, the AFCAT 2025 registration process will start on December 2. Interested candidates will be able to fill the AFCAT 1 application form 2025 through the official website at afcat.cdac.in.
The deadline to apply online for AFCAT 1 exam 2025 is December 31, 2024. The AFCAT 2025 recruitment drive has the motive to fill a total of 336 vacancies of men and women in the department.
The AFCAT 1 2025 selection process of candidates will include a written test, AFSB Test and Medical Examination. AFCAT is conducted to select candidates for admission in the field of Flying Branch and Ground Duty branches/NCC Special Entry/Meteorology Entry courses.

AFCAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Flying Branch
- Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in any undergraduate degre or a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology degree with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Candidates who have completed their CPL with DGCA certification are eligible without the need for the 60% marks in graduation.
Ground Duty (Technical) :
- A minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech/B.E. like Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, etc
- A minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech/B.E. with subjects like Mechanical, Aeronautical, and Aerospace Engineering.
- Candidates with MSc with at least 60% marks can also apply.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) :
- Should have a minimum of 60% marks in any undergraduate degree.
- Postgraduate degree in relevant fields with at least 50% marks.
- A minimum of 60% marks in BCom/ MCom.
