CAT 2024 Exam Day Do’s and don'ts
Candidates can attempt a stress-free exam experience by maintaining discipline and adhering to the rules. Candidates should follow some CAT 2024 do’s and don’ts below before appearing for the exam:
CAT 2024 Exam Day Do’s
- Bring a CAT 2024 admit card and a valid photo ID proof like an Aadhar card, PAN card, or driving license.
- Reach the exam center at least an hour before the reporting time to avoid last-minute stress.
- Read all the instructions carefully which are given on the CAT 2024 admit card.
- Follow the Dress Code which is comfortable, simple clothing without metallic items.
- Be Calm and manage your time wisely during the exam while attempting all questions.
CAT 2024 Exam Day Don’ts
- Don’t leave the exam hall before time: Exiting the hall before the end of the exam is prohibited.
- Do not cheat while attempting the exam to cheat.
- Candidates must remain seated until the invigilator announces the completion of the test and allows dismissal.
- Do not carry electronic gadgets, study materials, paper chits, or even watches are banned.
- Don’t skip rough work submission after completing the exam.
- Attempt only questions you’re reasonably confident about.
- Don’t violate exam center protocols like leaving your seat without permission, or arguing with staff.
CAT 2024 Exam Timings
Candidates need to reach the examination center as per the reporting time mentioned on the CAT 2024 admit card for a smooth flow of the identification process:

CAT 2024 CheckList
The CAT 2024 admit card is the most important document to be carried to the test center. The admit card is the main identity proof of the test taker. Photocopy or digital copy of the CAT admit card 2024 will not be accepted as valid ID proof at the exam center. Candidates must take out two prints of their CAT 2024 admit card in an A4 size sheet before the exam day and affix a passport-sized photo (preferably the same photo as uploaded in the application form) on it. They will be required to submit one signed copy of the admit card at the exam center and retain the other signed copy for future reference.
