CAT 2024 Exam Tomorrow: Slot Timings, Pattern, Guidelines & Updates
The Indian Institution of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 tomorrow, November 24. The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted in three shifts –
- The first shift will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- The second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and
- Third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
The IIM Calcutta has issued the CAT 2024 admit card on the official website at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates should have their registration ID and password to download the CAT 2024 admit card. Candidates are required to carry a valid photo ID on exam day for verification along with the CAT 2024 admit card,
CAT 2024 Exam Pattern
The CAT 2024 exam will have three sections -
- Verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC)
- Data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and
- Wuantitative aptitude (QA). There will be a total of 66 questions in the CAT 2024 paper.
According to the CAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will get 3 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Exam Guidelines
- Reach the test center at least an hour before the reporting time to avoid last-minute stress.
- Check the admit card for reporting time and venue details.
- Bring your CAT 2024 admit card and a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, PAN card, or driving license.
- Pay close attention to the exam instructions provided on the CA.
- Manage the time wisely during the exam and focus on accuracy over attempting all questions.
- Don’t leave the exam hall before time.
- Do not carry prohibited items like Electronic gadgets, study materials, or paper chits.
