The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the 2025 board exams for Classes 10 and 12 are going to commence on February 15, 2025. Expectedly, the Class 10 exams will end on March 18, 2025, and the Class 12 exams will continue until April 4, 2025. For regular schools, the practical exams will be conducted from January 1, 2025, and for winter-bound schools, they will continue between November 5 and December 5, 2024.
Many of the state boards have also started releasing their exam schedules. Like, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra will conduct their Class 10 and 12 exams in March-April 2025. Students are supposed to check the latest updates regarding the exam timetable on the board websites.
While addressing a notification to the principals, and heads of institutions of all affiliated schools, it is stated that the board examinations of Classes 10 and 12 will only be conducted in a room where a CCTV facility will be provided. In case a school has no fixed cameras then they are not to be considered as a part of the examination venue for the students. This policy is implemented in the year 2025 examination.
Students can use and follow this timetable to plan their studies effectively by doing proper preparation and revision time. For CBSE, detailed date sheets will soon be available on the official website at cbse.gov.in, and students are supposed to download and print them for further reference.
