According to the official notice, “Candidates who want to report and join NBEMS seats are required to complete the joining process at NBEMS Online Portal for Joining and Registration before reporting to the training institute/hospital."

Candidates are advised to check the seat matrix thoroughly, which is made available by the Medical Counselling Committee at mcc.nic.in for each particular round.

Requirements for Medical Training and Reporting

After completing the joining procedures, candidates assigned NBEMS seats must report to the medical training institutions they have been assigned to. It is required that a medical examination be performed by the Medical Board. Candidates will only be permitted to enrol in the course if they pass this test.

Guidelines for Fee Payment and Submission

Once the NBEMS Online Portal for Joining and Registration (OPJR) has been completed, candidates are supposed to submit the first-year annual course fee. Within the reporting window,  the payment must be done online on the official website

Policy for Refunding Course Fees

The annual course fee can be refunded to candidates who want to upgrade their seats in the next rounds if their initial seat is retained due to some issues. The cost will not be refunded if a candidate withdraws and the seat is not re-assigned in other rounds. After the completion of all counselling rounds, candidates will get the refunds within six months.

Documentation and the Joining Process

For the verification process, candidates are supposed to present the necessary original documentation at the time of reporting to their institutions. They will be permitted to enroll in the course after the whole process of verification.
