The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has asked candidates with disabilities to submit the required documents if they need a scribe for the CLAT 2025 exam. Those who want to bring their scribe must inform the consortium by November 23. The CLAT 2025 exam will be held on December 1.
Candidates with special disabilities who want to use a scribe must inform the consortium by 5 pm on November 23 and submit the necessary certificate by 5 pm on November 25. Students must upload these documents to get the scribe's assistance.
The consortium’s official notice states that candidates with “specified disabilities,” as defined by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, who have trouble writing and need a scribe or reader’s help, must upload the relevant documents on their application portal.
If candidates prefer to arrange their scribe, they must also upload Appendix II and III by 5 pm on November 23, 2024. Students should review the scribe qualifications listed in the PwD guidelines.
The consortium also mentioned, “Enter your CLAT admit card number in the Appendix for the CLAT Registration ID. Requests can be made through phone calls, emails, or tickets will not be accepted.”
