IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements 2024-25: Cluster 2 Concludes, Mahindra & Amazon Lead Recruitment
Introduction
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has successfully concluded Cluster 2 of its summer placements for the 2024-25 batch of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP). The process will witness robust participation from leading recruiters across diverse sectors, with the companies like Mahindra Group and Amazon emerging as top recruiters in this phase.
Cluster 2 featured roles across various sectors like Consumer Goods, Retail and General Management. Mahindra Group which will offer coveted roles in general management for laying emphasis on leadership development programs for high-potential candidates. Amazon has led the technology domain by offering position in various operations and business strategy which reflects the growing demand for talent in the e-commerce and tech ecosystem.
The Consumer Goods and Retail sectors also saw active participation, with companies which are offering roles in sales, marketing and supply chain management. Major players in this domain will cover HUL, P&G, and ITC. These organisations are providing opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience by managing large-scale operations and developing market strategies.
IIM Ahmedabad’s placement process is divided into various clusters to streamline recruiter interaction and facilitate a better match between candidate aspirations and company requirements. The institute will follow a cohort-based system by allowing companies from similar sectors to conduct recruitment simultaneously.
Cluster 3 is the final phase which will focus on sectors like BFSI and niche consulting firms. With two clusters which are already concluded, the placements will reflect the continued trust of top recruiters in IIM Ahmedabad’s talent pool.
