IIT Kanpur: Launches a Python program focused on machine learning and deep learning, starting December 1.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur recently launched its Python Program focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL). It is a comprehensive 4-week course designed for scholars, students, faculty, industry professionals, and R&D personnel. The program will be conducted from 1 to 27 December 2024.
Participants will get practical projects and hands-on experience in domains like Business, Medicine, Science, and Engineering. They will get to work with advanced Python packages, including NumPy, linalg, Matplotlib, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras, etc.
Steps to Register for the IIT Kanpur Python Program
Follow the given steps to register for the IIT Kanpur Python Program–
- Read the registration document for detailed instructions available at iitk.ac.in/mwn/AIML/.
- Pay the registration fee via State Bank I-Collect. Also, note down the SBI i-Collect transaction ID after making the payment.
- Complete the registration form. Enter the SBI i-Collect transaction ID in the required field.
- Download, fill, and send the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), along with the scanned copy of your registration fee receipt, to mimo5G.iitk@gmail.com.
IIT Kanpur Python Program Curriculum
Problem-solving sessions will be conducted in the Python Program, to prepare students for tests and interviews. All modules are scheduled for weekends and evenings to avoid inconvenience for the participants. Participants do not need to have any prior experience in the field of programming to join the program. IIT Kanpur's Certification Program in Python for AI and ML is beneficial for students from all backgrounds.
