Introduction
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodhgaya has partnered with PCI India to improve the public health domain. IIM will offer internships to students enrolled in the MBA-HHM programme at IIM Bodhgaya. A two-year MBA programme in Hospital and Healthcare Management was started by the IIM in 2023.
IIM Bodhgaya said, "IIM Bodhgaya strives for academic excellence in healthcare management education by bridging the gap between industry and academia through this collaboration with PCI India."
Students enrolled in the MBA-HHM programme will participate in a 2-week-long community project that aims to provide an inclusive learning experience in public health.
According to the IIM, the programme is designed to provide a holistic appreciation of the healthcare industry, including corporate hospitals, public health, health insurance, pharmaceuticals, digital health, and healthcare consulting. IIM Bodhgaya that lectures on related topics will be delivered by subject matter experts from PCI India. These experts will also provide internship opportunities to participants. The internship will be a four-month-long program. Both IIM Bodhgaya and PCI India will conduct joint research and events, round table discussions, seminars, workshops and conferences, and innovative discussions on significant issues in the healthcare management domain.
