The Minister highlighted that both the central and state governments share the responsibility of achieving zero-error in entrance tests. This aim is to build trust among students and their families.
While reviewing past issues these reforms come after concerns about irregularities in exams like NEET (medical entrance) and NET (PhD entrance). The Radhakrishnan panel was established in June to ensure fair and transparent examinations conducted by the NTA.

The report focuses on improving the National Testing Agency (NTA). It includes suggestions to make the selection of exam centers more transparent, fixing past weaknesses in the system. There are also guidelines on the kinds of exams that should be held and clear instructions to make sure they are effective.
The committee suggested to move to online mode rather than traditional method. For NEET-UG, a multi-stage format is introduced to reduce stress for students and make evaluations more accurate.
