The application process for the January session of JEE Main 2025 exam, is working at a slower pace than expectations with just 5 to 10 lakh students completing their registration in the first two weeks. This is much less as compared to over 12.21 lakh applications received during the last year. The last date for submission of the form is November 22, but experts are expressing concerns over the slower pace of registrations.
Amit Ahuja, a career counseling expert at Allen Career Institute in Kota said that” the application process this year is progressing slower than anticipated. “The number of applications is considerably lower compared to previous years, which indicates that many students are facing difficulties or delays in completing their applications."

Another major issue which is raised by the students is the absence of a comprehensive FAQ document from the NTA which is going to conduct the JEE-Main exam. As a result of this many students find problems navigating the application process without adequate support. Many students are still waiting for responses and have reached out to NTA for clarification.
