Smart India Hackathon 2024 Grand Finale Begins on December 11: Schedule Announced
Introduction
The Smart India Hackathon 2024 Grand Finale dates have been announced by the Ministry Of Education. The software edition of SIH 2024 will be held between 11 and 12 December while the hardware edition will be conducted from 11 December to 15 December 2024.
The Godrej Group sponsored the program. The event launch was attended by AICTE chairman TG Sitharam and vice chairman Abhay Jere. He addressed the event, urging the attendees to use the platform to support the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. In August 2024, the seventh edition of the Smart India Hackathon was launched by the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education.
What is the Smart India Hackathon?
The Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative that encourages students to solve real-world problems using their technical and problem-solving skills. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The objectives of the hackathon are to foster innovation in children, encourage collaboration, and allow children to think out of the box.
