Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Course

M.B.B.S

  • Students must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.
  • Students must secure a minimum of 50% in PCB. In the case of SC/ST students, 40 % and 45% for OBC. 
  • For MBBS, Appearing in the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET-UG) is mandatory. (Government, Deemed & Private Colleges)
  • Appearing in NEET-UG is not mandatory for Private and Deemed Colleges. If the student is looking for Govt. For colleges, NEET-UG is mandatory

For NRI Students

  • Candidate should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) and should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (taken together)
  • Should have passed in English.
  • It must have documents to prove their NRI/FOREIGN status (Eg. passport, work permit, school certificate, etc.)
  • An inward remittance certificate from the Reserve Bank of India is also mandatory.

  • Candidates have to be Qualified in the PG entrance Test Conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi

All the available seats, including NRI/Management quota, are allotted by merit under the state quota through counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority and the selection will be based on the rank obtained in the NEET conducted on an all-India basis by the CBSE, New Delhi.
