XLRI - Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, is a private management school located in the city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand state, India. XLRI was founded in 1949 by the Society of Jesus commonly called Jesuits and it is the oldest business school in India. The minimum eligibility to apply for admission to the FPM is either:

Candidates who have the above-mentioned basic eligibility can apply for admission to the FPM through any ONE of the following three routes:
ROUTE - 1
Appear in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) to be conducted all over India.
ROUTE - 2
Appear in UGC-JRF/NET or GMAT or GRE or GATE conducted and submit the scores obtained.
ROUTE - 3
Have a two-year full-time PGDM/MBA or equivalent, from XLRI, any of the IIMs, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, XIM Bhubaneswar, IRMA, SP Jain, School of Management of an IIT, TISS or ISI with a CQPI of at least 6.00/8.00 or equivalent.
Applications received through any one of the above three routes will be short-listed and only short-listed candidates will be called for final selection which includes Personal Interview at XLRI Jamshedpur.

No, XLRI does not have the provision for direct admission into their programs. Admission is purely merit-based and based on scores obtained in entrance tests like XAT, GMAT, GRE, and GATE.
The eligibility for FPM at XLRI is BE/BTech or equivalent but with an aggregate of at least 60% marks, whereas for SC/ST candidates, the aggregate is at least 50%, after completing at least 10+2+4 years of education.
To apply for PGDM in XLRI Jamshedpur, aspirants need to register themselves by visiting the official website of the institute. The XLRI conducts an admission process based on the valid scores in the XAT exam. For this, candidates must appear for the national-level entrance test. After that, candidates have to fill out the application form with all the mandatory details and make the prescribed application fee payment to complete the application process.
The application fee of XAT, 2025 is 2,200 INR. You will have to pay an additional amount of 200 INR if you choose XLRI in the application form to get admission.
Aspirants who want to enroll in PGDM (GM) can apply through GMAT. Application fee of such candidates: 2,500 INR.
