Eligibility & Admissions School of Business Studies, Sharda University

Eligibility Criteria

  • Undergraduate Courses: The candidate should have class 12th from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% marks. In some courses, the candidate may be allowed with 50% marks as well.
  • Postgraduate Courses: The applicant must be holding a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Age: The candidate must be at least 17 years of age by the 31st of December of the admission year.

Authentic Entrance Exams

  • Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT): Mandatory entrance test assessing problem-solving, analytical skills, and language.
  • Other Approved Tests: Scores from other national entrance tests such as JEE, UPSEE, MAT, CAT, XAT, and Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam are accepted for admission.

Admission and Selection Process

Application Process: 

  • Candidates should apply at the admission portal of Sharda University and also pay the application fee of INR 1500; and INR 1000 for females.
  • A tracking application shall be given an ID and password.

Admission Test:

  • Candidates who qualify for the course must pass for SUAT, or acceptance scores of SUAT can be submitted in any entrance test.
  • The SUAT comprises 100 questions on logical reasoning, quantitative analysis, and English comprehension.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview:

Short-listed candidates will be put through Group Discussions and Personal Interviews to assess their communication skills and aptitude for the program.

Final Selection

  • Admission is purely based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination, GD, and PI.
  • Admitted candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the requisite fees within 15 days.

Verification of Documents

During the admitting process, the Candidate's class 10th and 12th mark sheets along with a photocopy of scorecards for entrance exams including ID proof.
