Admission and Selection Process at MDI Gurgaon :

  • Visit the official website for the CAT 2023 Application.
  • Under the “New Candidate Registration” section, click on the “Registration” tab for New User registration. 
  • A new window will open for generating the User ID and password. Fill in the required information(Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Country, and Email Address) to generate an OTP. Enter the OTP and click & click on validate OTP & submit.
  • A message on the registered mobile number containing the Password and an email containing the User ID will be sent.
  • Log-in details(User ID and password) will be generated for the completion of a further process of the CAT 2023 Application.
  • Now fill out the CAT Application on the official website by logging in through the generated User ID and password.
  • Once the application is submitted successfully, the candidate has to upload the necessary documents. 
  • After that, the candidate has to fill in the academic details, work experience details, and preferred programmes.
  • Choose your preferred city for the test location.
  • Pay the CAT registration fees.
  • The candidate will receive an email for the confirmation of CAT Application 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation (50% for SC/ST candidates)
  • Candidates appearing for final year exams can also apply, provided they furnish evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria by October 31, 2024
  • Acceptable entrance exams: CAT, GMAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA

 Application deadline 

The application deadline for MDI Gurgaon PGDM programs for the 2025-27 batch is:

  • Round 1: Monday, April 15, 2025 (till 17:00 hrs)
  • Round 2: Monday, July 1, 2025 (till 17:00 hrs)

Candidates must apply online through the MDI website by the respective deadlines. The application fee is Rs. 3,000 (inclusive of 18% GST).

Key points regarding the application deadline:

  • Candidates applying by April 15, 2025, will be shortlisted for Phase 1 of Personal Interviews on April 28, 2025
  • Candidates applying after April 15, 2025, will be considered for Phase 2 of the admission cycle, with interviews tentatively scheduled for July 7, 2025
  • Applicants must have a valid CAT, GMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, or CMAT score, valid until June 30, 2025, to be eligible for admission

Campus Life at MDI Gurgaon 

The students are sitting in an oasis of 35 acres amidst one of the world's most busy metropolises. Gurugram is a corporate hub. Most of the top multinationals and Indian companies are headquartered in Gurugram. Corporate leaders are open to giving time for meetings with some of the talented professionals. So, each student has many minutes which means "quality time"-of interaction with the top managers of companies.

The students can be engaged in business competitions also. Throughout the academic year, extracurricular plans are there. A calendar is planned by the organizing committee comprising students and the EGP Office.

Excellent sports facilities will keep the students fit both physically and mentally. The institute has a golf course, basketball, floodlit badminton and tennis courts, and facilities for indoor games like table tennis. Some of the other popular games include cricket and football. There are several in-house competitions, which finally culminate in the annual sports meet involving the students, faculty, and staff of MDI.
