Admission Process
Admission to UG courses at IIT Madras is based on your performance in the Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE Advanced). JEE Advanced is a highly competitive exam conducted by one of the IITs on a rotating basis.
To be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, you must have qualified in the JEE Main exam. JEE Main is a screening exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
