IIM Udaipur prides itself on the fact that students with high potential across the country aspire to come to its postgraduate programs, and vice versa. Who choose to call it their home. A high academic potential is essential but not enough. What matters is the willingness to unlearn and relearn, to delve deep within and without. We expect our students to come in with an acute passion for growth-demanding more from themselves, their classmates, and the Institute. We believe that just as an institute crafts its students' future, in the same way each successive batch crafts and shapes the culture of the campus.

IIMU has a student-written constitution in place—an honour code with values-driven student self-government.

The rigour and high standards from inside the classroom get carried to all campus activities and community life outside the classroom. Academically and in a rich choice of extra-curricular options, the spectrum of experience that IIMU provides its students ranges from the rural to the global. Myriad clubs and committees encourage students to explore nature, culture, sports, art, and adventure with no limit but curiosity and enthusiasm.

Every single student can be offered as an agent of change; this is the motivation we can promise unto them—to be able to transform not only their own lives but with the help of building the fabric of the institute, to be able to transform the lives of many others.
