About IIM Kashipur

The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur is the second generation IIM set up by the Government of India in 2011. It aspires to achieve excellence in management education by using innovative teaching methods, promoting high quality research and practicing sustainable leadership. Education at IIM Kashipur:

The institute is a student-driven campus where there are students from placement to functional work, from academic to non academic activities. The programs institute offers are Master of Business Administration(MBA), Master of Business Administration in Analytics(MBA Analytics), Executive Master of Business Administration(EMBA), Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D), Executive development programs-Online Certificate Programmes.the institute has established three centers namely of excellence COEPPG, DIC  are envisaged to deserve as the intersection of scholarships, education, training, research and consultancies putting a breakthrough interdisciplinary approach at the service of students. The candidates must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of recognised universities to be eligible for the courses in IIM Kashipur:

Eligibility Criteria:

Doctoral program:

A master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% marks.

or

Five years Integrated Masters degree program in any discipline with at least 60% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling(10+2) or equivalent.

or

A professional qualification duly recognised by UGC/AICTE/AIU equivalent to master’s degree (CA,CMA,CS) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average.

Or

4 years or equivalent bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Arch/B.Tech) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average.

MBA:

  •  Completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks.
  •  Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with the required percentage. 
  •  Should be in the final year of Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage. 
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates should have a minimum of 45%. For General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates, the minimum is 50%. 

MBA Analytics:

  • A full-time Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent(10+2+3), with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent.
  • Valid CAT-2023 Score
  • GMAT score where the exam was not taken earlier than May 1, 2022

Executive MBA

  • A Bachelor’s Degree duly recognised by UGC/AIU with minimum aggregate marks of 50%  for general, 47% for NC-OBC, and 45% for SC/ST/DAP
  • Minimum 3 years of Managerial/Entrepreneurial/Professional experience after Graduation.
  •  

Executive MBA(Analytics)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent (10+2+3), with a minimum of 45% or equivalent CGPA.
  • Minimum of three years of full-time work experience, where number of years of work experience is considered as on date of announcement of the online application process for admission.

Admission and selection process

The admission process comprises of following stages:

  • Stage 1:

Submission of online application with all the required documents in the form of attachments as required in the online application form.

  • Stage 2:

Shortlisting on the qualifying exam score(CAT 2023/GMAT), educational background(X, XII, graduation marks), work experience, discipline diversity and gender diversity.

  • Stage 3:

Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview(PI). Online Personal Interview will be conducted.

Documents required for online application:

  • Class 10 mark sheets and class 12 mark sheets
  • Graduation degree marks sheet
  • Recent passport-size photographs.
  • Competitive exam score sheets of Cat/GMAT/IIMB Test/EMAT whichever applicable.
  • Category certificate if applicable.
  • Self-attested copy of work experience certificate.

Scholarships

Full yearly tuition fee waiver will be provided under three types of scholarships to 10% of both the batches of the MBA program

  • need-based scholarship
  • Merit-based scholarships
  • Need-cum-Merit based scholarships.

The following GOI scholarships are available to the MBA Participants:

  • Central sector scholarship scheme of Top-class education for Scheduled castes students -Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
  • National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST-students Scholarship students- Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
  • Merit-cum minority-based scholarships schemes belonging to the minor communities-Ministry of Minority Affairs.

IIM in the North as it is popularly called, the institute holds its image true at the time of winters but the radiant cooling cats as a life savior. Kashipur is situated in the lap of Uttarakhand, a serene, peaceful paradise, and at certain times of weather, you can spot the Himalayas from the window of the hostel rooms. The classrooms are spacious with good ventilation and bright for students to concentrate on their studies,

Accommodation

There are two separate hostels for both boys and girls with all the basic facilities. All the rooms are well furnished and maintained with proper electricity and water supply. The facility of laundry and mess is also provided for hostel residents.

Library

The IIM Kashipur library is a vast building having a collection of 11.250 books, journals, databases, audio-visual materials, cd/DVD, e-Journals, reports, case studies, theses etc. The library has been providing services to its clientele such as WEB OPAC Services, inter-library resource sharing, automated circulation, email alert services, cyber lab services and other services required for the smooth functioning of a modern library.

Library management systems such as Koha(The latest version), it has high-speed internet and intranet.

Sports and fitness: 

The gym and Sports are also offered Students can do their regular exercises and concentrate on fitness. Indoor and outdoor games are also encouraged on campus for the students' entertainment.

Auditoriums: 

Conference rooms and Auditorium are attached to the academic blocks of the institution. It is vast and spacious for a huge student crowd, and faculties and guests can fit inside during events and meetings conducted in the institution.
