The Symbiosis Law Admission Test or SLAT is an entrance exam which is conducted by the Symbiosis International University, for gaining admission into its various law programs, such as, BA.LLB and BBA.LLB. • WAT process is conducted completely online for which the candidates are required to book their slots by visiting the website of the SLS in which they seek to get admission. A candidate who wishes to crack SLAT WAT must stay updated and informed on current affairs, political issues, national as well as international topics.
• After WAT is over, a Personal Interview or PI is conducted, for which the candidates are again required to book their slots online. In this round, questions are asked to candidates, to test and assess their speaking abilities, their personality and the future lawyer's aims and objectives as they are capable of changing the condition of the nation in the future.
• For SLAT WAT, candidates must brush up on their general knowledge and stay informed about current affairs. They must follow the news and they can also update their knowledge through Twitter. They are meant to practice their writing for this round, therefore, they must practice typing on a keyboard to improve their typing speed and accuracy.

SLAT 2025 Selection Process Preparation

In the SLAT selection process, 70% weightage is provided to the SLAT result and 30% weightage is given to the  Personal Interview (PI) round. 

• SLAT 2025 was conducted in two phases, Test 1 was conducted on December 13, 2024 and Test 2 was conducted on December 15, 2024.
• The results for the same were announced on December 26, 2024.
• Since 70% of weightage is given to the SLAT result, preparing for the entrance is the most crucial part. Candidates must thoroughly prepare for the exam. They must familiarize themselves with the five sections of the exam- logical reasoning, legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, and general knowledge.
